Root unrooting?

I was wondering, how hard is it to unroot the phone, say if you wanted to take it in to AT&T. I could always unjailbreak my iphone easily if I needed to take it in.. and I was wondering how hard it was to get the inspire back to factory settings AND if they can tell you rooted once you have restored it back to factory settings.... it's the last thing holding me back from rooting, I have terrible luck with phones and don't want to stop myself from being able to get a new one if something happens.. lol

If you check out the guide I posted on rooting, the application set that I linked will also allow you to UNROOT your phone, regardless of the ROM you are on.

As for them telling if it has been rooted, hell, 99% of those CS Reps wouldn't know how to check if you were even rooted if you use a sense ROM. If you use a non-sense ROM, just tell them you have a custom launcher you downloaded from the market so it looks more like stock Android.

For those VERY few that know what to look for, if you unroot with the tool I mentioned above, it will return everything to S-OFF so they will never be able to prove you did anything.

Hope this helps. :)
