unwanted downloads

How do I stop unwanted downloads from appearing on my desktop? And also, every time I start my Galaxy Note 8 it goes to the Play Store and wants me to download some stupid game called Candy Crush. I have never asked for any of this yet I get weird notifications that have no use.

Have a look through that, install some of the apps it suggests and see if it finds the app that's giving you grief.
