Help Unwanted switching to "speaker on" during call

Hi everyone,
I have a problem with this everytime I place or recieve a call. The phone swithces from the earpeice to speaker everytime I put the earpiece to my ear. I'm not touching the screen and switching it myself, I know that. I called my voicemail so i could play around with it and eveytime i place my thumb over the earpiece it switches on the speaker.

Probably a simple fix, but it has me stumped.

Any input or help would be great.

Okay, I figured it out
