Have flashed LeeDrOiD's GB Data++ ROM under AlphaRev's CM partition tab and created usual UOT theme - just used the Kitchen's ROM dropdown with Data++ check box ticked, and all mods apart from the custom boot animation installed.

So anyone know if the Leedroid ROM boot animation lives in a different place to the Kitchen's Sense ROM location, or is it protected somehow? Is there an alt way to load one eg via ADB? (Tried to post in the Leedroid XDA thread but only just registered there and it won't let me post in dev forums yet :()

Can't remember where Kitchen puts it. usually it can go in system/customize or data/local but last one depends if dev has enabled that functionaility

Just checked and my boot animation is in system/customize/resource. I'm on 2.5 but assume its the same.

Yep, kitchen has data/local as default for sense roms, but just checked the ROM zip and it's in system/customize/resource. Should've checked  ah well, fancy a new battery mod anyway

Well, its always in system/customize anyway. Thats where it is on all ROM as default.

However, SOME custom ROMs enable data/local as a secondary location, which will override the default.
