Update Download Glitch

HTC One M9 ATT running Nougat. All updates from Google Play download and install OK, except HTC Weather. It downloads, but won't install, giving me a Code 505. Google says it's an HTC problem (I agree), and HTC says it's a Google problem. This is an annoyance, since the Weather app works fine without the update, but still...
