Root Update NC from 1.0.0 to 1.4 ?

I did a hard reset to restore my NC to its original unrooted status and now am at version 1.0.0 of the operating system. Can I update directly to 1.4 or do I need to update each OS in order?

You are supposed to be able to do it directly. Read Get Version 1.4.1 Today here.
