Help Update problem

Hello

I installed the CD rom for my Samsung galaxy spica. When I opened the program it's saying there is a software update available. When I click on the "update" it askes me if i did a back up, I say yes then it's trying to download the binary files but that's where everythings goes wrong. It says that it cant make a connection with the server. I put my firewall off and still have the same problem.

Does anyone know what's the problem?
