"Update Profile" issue. Help!!

I was in the updates section in settings, and I saw the Update Profile. I thought, "Updating must be a good thing.", so i clicked it. (I'm still fairly new to android, so don't shoot me lol) Well, now i can't use the internet/ market, etc. Can I reverse what I did? I need help from all you knowledgable people! D=
