Help Update screwed up my Incredible

Woke up this morning to a notification that phone needed an upgrade. After downloading, I had to new extra screens for apps and widgets, which I don't really need. It also took away my clock on the main screen, which I use frequently. It also created a jumbled, stacked screen that included internet bookmarks, communications, and a calculator, all of which are too large to fit on the screen, and therefore, cannot be moved or changed in size, but will allow them to be deleted. Anyone else have this experience? How can I go back to the way my phone was?

I WISH that is all that happened to my phone....the new update sent me back to factory settings....EVERYTHING is gone.

I have to get a backup app.
