Help update software issue

Hi guys, I have a At&T phone but a T-mobile sim card and I am unable to update my software to higher version

You need to flash the firmware in Odin manually. Note: It will wipe all pics, texts etc.
You need the BOI2 firmware.

Uhm can you give me a more details guide? Thanks, honestly what are BO12 firmware and Odin firmware? And where do I get those?

Sammobile doesn't have it since AT&T does not release its firmware. This is supposed to be a guide with Firmware link. Look at manual update with Odin.

As it's an AT&T device, doesn't it need an AT&T SIM in to update? Have you tried with an AT&T SIM?

You'll just need it to update, once it's installed you should be able to put your TMobile SIM in again and use it without issue.

I have a BOI2 firmware file but i'm at work and the firmware is on one of my laptops at home...
