I found a fix for the rooted stock 4.1.2 & Jedi Mind Trick where the hardware information shows on the home screen.
The phone MUST be rooted, and you need a file manager that can access root partitions.
It is a pretty safe fix, but as always,
If you screw up your phone I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE WHAT-SO-EVER!
You have to go into /efs/imei/keystr
and delete keystr and make a new file called keystr and use text editor in root explorer to type ON in it and reboot.
