This is a handy app. As you can see where I circled , it shows the current cpu usage for apps (I refreshed so you could see the bar graph).
came in very handy today, my bat was draining way to fast, using this app I found bar code scanner, that i had used to check a price at home depot earlier, had been maxing out my cpu at 998MHz for 2 hrs .

yea, it's quite an update. as long as the price is fair then i'll buy it once it's out of beta.

actually it was barcode scanner , though it has had a recent update. I would still say give it a try, I have been going a tad app crazy :p. So it could very well be another app causing conflict or happen to be sync'ing.

I doubt its barcode scanner considering how many people (including myself) use it.

i've been using this App (system panel) and notice that messages uses a lot of CPU when hundreds of texts/threads are stored/not deleted. HTC Sense CAN use high CPU at times, touch input also. Still Playing/testing with the App.

I still use it, but it was barcode scanner that got stuck in some type of loop, was at 99% cpu usage according to system panel, and it (scanner)was the last app/feature/service I used on phone before it acted up.
By your criteria windows would be perfect.
But no harm no foul, what app or os never acts up?

I'm just going by track record, and that is one of the most consistent and most used (and when I say this, that means rarely has anyone reported problems - I don't mean a lot of users = no problems. That's not what I said) apps, so it just seems weird, thats all. No biggie

Love this freaking app for monitoring my system. I dont use it much for the task killing as i just let android take care of it, but this is one nice, clean, reliable app for keeping tabs on apps that you suspect are running stray

this is a great find. wish i found this sooner. so much information crammed into one easy to decipher app. i totally would've paid for this.

I love this app. Before using this app to end tasks, my available memory has gone from constantly being at 90 - 120 to now constantly 250 or higher :)

It's soooo fun though. Seeing such a number, and the smoothness of it! :D

Not to mention it's by far the best one out there. The only exceptions I have are BatteryTime Lite, my weather widget, AIM, Facebook, and Handcent. Everything else Can just die!
