TWRP 3.2.0 brings support for flashing Lineage OS 15 and Oreo based builds amongst many other updates and new features.

I am not responsible if your device decides to do something wonky and cause havok. I make no guarantees that anything will work, I just test to make sure the essentials work which they seem to be.

This is Team Win Recovery Project v3.2.0 compiled from Omnirom Nougat source base. This is using the msm8916 caf kernel right now, which is based off of lg k10 devs work.

Thanks to TeamRegular for their CM12.1 sources which I modified to make this, LG K10 devs and everyone that develops for this device and devices like it.

Only major bugs I've seen so far is the time and date bug which is common. I tested the most common things, and they seem to work.

I had to disable encryption until I get it figured out.

You can flash however you want, just make sure to keep a backup copy of the old TWRP in case something goes wrong. Flashify, fastboot, inside TWRP, whichever works.

This is Team Win Recovery Project v3.0.2-0 compiled from Cyanogenmod 13 source base. This is using the LG open source kernel right now, which is based off of v20g. CAF kernel support should hopefully come sometime in the future when I get bugs worked out with it.

Merry Christmas and enjoy!

Still out of touch boss

hmm. someday soon ill send you a pm with a special build and instructions to get me logs once i get all the needed pieces in place so we can try to see why your touchscreen isnt working.

did you have the same problem with the old cm12 and twrp builds?

also when you bought the phone do you happen to remember which firmware it came with? maybe 10i?

ms631(metro) or h631(tmobile)?

It's metro...i can't remember the firmware..it started at lollipop..
The newer 3.something twrp are out of touch for my device....
Cm builds have no touch issues...
More sensor related problems...
Your builds are the first on this phone with no sensor problems..
That's why i even tried alpha2..
The fact that you only have data to work on...because you don't have service...
Is amazing...it makes sense..
If i could afford any type of awards to give you for your efforts...even thou that a waste of words just saying it nowdays...i would buy you a cake...
Thanx man...
I can't wait to have it when data works...because...the time i had it on my phone....nothing crashed...
On stock MM ...almost every app crashes halfway into anything..without mods..

hey as much as we need custom roms i need tester buddies and you and the others that have helped so far have fit the bill perfectly.

i need you to, in your stock rom (not cm) pull up a dmesg for me.

adb shell dmesg > dmesg.txt

and post it here. this will help me figure out what firmware your touchscreen needs and i might have to either roll a special build for you guys that need certain firmware or take some time and figure out why it doesnt seem to be loading correct firmware for some and works for others.

its not too hard to build, its harder to get everything initially working. you shouldnt have too much trouble taking the device trees for lineage 13 and 14.1 and tweaking them to build other roms. it would be nice to have slim or resurrection remix and the like, and someone to focus on them.

Ive currently been using a 2.8 recovery. Both the 3.0 and 3.1 lead to no touches being registered on mine

I know some of you have issues with touch and I can't understand why since it uses the stock kernel. I've been looking into it and the only thing I can come up with is it's not loading the right firmware. Are you using a metro Stylo?

Im having the same problems with the touch screen not responding. Im using the t-mobile version.

weird. give me a dmesg while you are in twrp and ill see if i can see whats happening

adb shell dmesg > dmesg.txt

if you cant use adb, its because i forgot to set some stuff in the default.prop. lemme know and i can upload a twrp build that you should be able to work with adb with

Won't allow input when asking about system partition r/o permission.

And voila

I tried uploading the file directly but that seems to be broken in app

<6>[ 0.719311 / 01-01 00:00:00.689] [Touch] This panel is not TD4191. get_display_id() = 1

im guessing you guys use the melfas panel instead of the synaptics panel so ill have to spin a build trying to target that
