I don't know that I have seen SD slot mentioned...not saying you are wrong but that is one of the things I have been looking for haha nevermind she just said it marketing...
No huge surprises with this phone; it looks nice! The two features that really jumped out at me were the pop-up video playing and S-Beam. Pop-up video playing is great for multitasking smartphone time-wasters like me and many Americans. S-Beam is everything Android Beam should have been from the get-go. I hope that someone can port it to the Nexus.
the phone looks HUGE, 4.8 is to big, i was hoping they would stick to 4.6, don't know if i want it now
It also has wireless charging as rumored. Camera has video stabilization, best photo selection features. Does One X have that?
Is there any source or picture of this? Why isn't anybody reporting it? It makes a big difference to me between "summer" and "June"
many phone already have that..including the note and I think the nexus I have been texting my buddy at S during the event...laughing about how most of the features save a few are available on other Samsung phones already. The "new" thing is marketing...and notice how everything has "S" in front of it now. Kind of sad really ( "I" stuff..get it?)
CNET Video Review says LTE not till DECEMBER? Did I hear that right? CNET TV | Video Product Reviews, CNET Podcasts, Tech Shows, Live CNET Video - CNET TV Just listened again, def says DECEMBER at the 2:35 mark.
you're the 2nd person that has quoted cnet. i thought everyone knew not to trust anything they said by now
This is true. The US Carriers always want to tweak things here and there. But I think they will all get this phone by August the latest.
yes..best photo was on my skyrocket and note..pretty sure of it. will check later today. wireless charging from the manufacturer is new yes..and fits in my statement of "save a few new things"
how useful will that be? instead of using a 10 foot usb cord to charge and play with the phone, you have to set the phone on a dock and then can't touch it. oooooo so you don't have to plug it in!
I hope for June just as much as the next person (well maybe not as much because I have no reason to leave the note for the s3) but still..nothing is in stone I will say that June matches what my source said at lunch Tuesday. (pretty sure I posted that) For the most part everything lines up with what he told us back in Feb...a slightly updated version of what is already available with new marketing behind it. I will of course try and get my hands on one when they start testing them Just don't expect me to be uber enthusiastic about it like the previous phones I have done haha
who says you can't touch it while charging wirelessly? I'd rather charge without cumbersome cable when playing with it.
Absolutely disgusting plastic design. Yuck. At least the GS2 looked pretty nice and fits in your hand. HTC One X or Sony Xperia S are the best Android phones. People who buy this phone over HTC or Sony have no taste in art or beauty.
It doesnt say June for the LTE model though....that's where the confusion is coming in. Are all of them going to be LTE ready?
