Help Updated to 4.4 but lost half my storage

I have a identical problem, after upgrading to kitkat using kies for my samsung note 10.1 2012, the internal storage is now displayed 16 gb instead of 32gb.
I searched a lot and arrive to this post. I don't know how to lock and unlock the bootloader in samsung note 10.1. 1.
Anyone please help me.
