Updating Apps on SD Card

Does anyone have trouble with getting updates for Apps you have moved to the SD Card? I seem to have to move the Apps from SD to phone, update, and then move phone to SD. Is there a way to get updates for the Apps that are on the SDCard automatically?

are you rooted? what ROM if any?

does this happen to ALL of your APPs? have you always had this issue or is it a recent thing?

sometimes for me when i reboot the phone i will see updates available upon boot up..most of the time i do get the update notifications more often then not.

a few times i have gone into market and seen the "update available" notification.

i have not had to do your hoop jumping though..

Im running stock 2.2 on an EVO. Its only the apps on my SD card with the problem. For example, the Angry Birds update didnt come through for me (i have the app on the SD card), But as soon as I moved the app over to the phone, it updated. (I then moved it back to the SD card.)

Everything is working great (automatically) for the Apps that I leave on the phone.

I have the same problem on my HTC Incredible running 2.2.
