Support Updating problems!

    I am tring to update my Sony Xperia x10 from 1.6 to at least 2.1 or higher. I have been trying all week to get it to work, but it always says that i have the newest software when i still only have version 1.6, any help or info on how to get the update to work?

    i think u could just flash in the 2.1 firmware in to your phone

    What's your provider? Not all providers are giving you the 2.1 update.

    As GoodSmile said, your other option is to use another version of the system that is either linked to a carrier that has upgraded its phones, or a generic version (unbranded).

    There's a good list here but it's hard not to get lost, so look for a generic version of your phone (X10a or X10i depending on what you own).

    Then use the FlashTool (you'll need Windows XP - 7) but make sure to read the tutorials first.
