Yesterday I got verizon to agree to let me upgrade early, and the Rep put it in the system for me. I call today just to make sure its there. It is, it say is require manager approval.

My question is, Can I go in the coporate store and they will be able to see that or will I have to call customer service again to get them to apply it? Thx

And the Civil War between Customer Service and the Stores continues. Just because Customer Service "approved" the early upgrade that doesn't mean that the store has to honor it. It might be easier to just order the phone from Customer Service.

ok thanks, I just assumed that CS and the Coporate stores all feel under the same VZW umbrella.

DO you think its worth a try to go to the store though?

They are under the same VZW umbrella but their budgets aren't. It just sucks the way corporate has it set up. Each store has a discretionary budget. From a store managers point of view it's not cool that Customer Service promises the stores discretionary dollars away on early upgrades. Meanwhile the store manager is getting yelled at by their district manager for giving away too many credits. Yup, it's a civil war and the customer is often times stuck in the middle.

I'd still try at the store though.

Stick to customer service on this one. I had many issues when I had customer service oked something but corp store would not.

I washed my phone once about a month before upgrade, CS approved my early discount and I went online and got a new phone. I hate going into the stores.
