Help upgrade error-dll load fail

so i bought my samsung galazy s captivate, love the phone, but i tried to update the firmware from ver 2.1-2.2, after the update kies says that it has to update the usb or somthing, you have to switch your phone into download mode which i did, but through the update it stops and gives me an error, it says DLL load fail, then shows that the update failed, now i dont know if my phones stuck inbetween the updates or what, but it works fine right now but i want to update it please help me

uninstall Kies and do a fresh install and see if that solves the issue.
