    Hi

I have a generic Android 2.1 Tablet with the following specifications:

Screen: 7 Inch Touchscreen LCD (Resistive)
    Screen Resolution: 800*480
    CPU: Samsung S3C6410(ARM11/800MHz)
    Internal Memory/ROM: 1GB
    Memory/RAM: 256MB DDR
    Battery Type: Polymer Lithium-ion
    battery (7.4 V)
Battery Capacity: 1800 mAh (5-6 hour of constant use)
    Speaker: Built-in 2W
    Mic: Built-in high sensitivity mic
    Wireless Interface: WiFi 802.11b/g
    Kernel Version: 2.6.29-zenyu

Is there anyway I can upgrade this tablet to Android 2.2, as I would really like to use Flash with it, etc.

    Thanks.

That depends on the make/model. You need working drivers for all the hardware.

Unfortunately I don't have any working drivers for the hardware. When I connect it to a PC (Win XP) via mini-usb it searches for drivers then pops up suggesting 'HiDroid' before giving up. Perhaps I am doing something wrong?
