Well, this seems to be an interesting situation I'm in. My mother and I both upgraded to the Incredible on launch day. That was the last week of April. Today, I was telling her about how the new Droid X comes out in July and about the specs and showed her the live feed from Engadget. She said, "Well, why don't you sell your phone and buy that one?" I replied because I will have to upgrade to an unsubsidized price so I would be paying quite a bit of money for it. Then I went to Verizon's website to show her what I meant. I logged into our account and clicked the upgrade available button, which confused me for a second but I thought nothing of it. Then it occurred to me on the very next page that I was still eligible for an upgrade even though I just got this phone. That means I can easily sell this phone and upgrade to the Droid X upon release. Regardless, I'm so confused as to how this is possible. I'm thinking it was a glitch in the system which allowed me to look as though I didn't upgrade even though I did. Maybe it was an accident and by trying to upgrade Verizon will notice, but it doesn't seem likely I hope. Anyone else have this happen to them? It's on a family plan so if anyone else has a family plan, check out your account page. My number is also the main line.
