Upgrade to 2.2 if phone is rooted

    If I have rooted my VM Intercept and the upgrade to 2.2 comes out will I be able to upgrade to it or will I have to go back to stock first? If so how would I do that? Thanks.

    With root you should be able to update, its just if you use a custom ROM it doesn't work I think.

    download....flash a stock recovery
    flash thru swupgrade

    download....flash a stock vmu kernel
    flash thru recovery
    flash thru swupgrade

    you need to be fullstock to upgrade to 2.2 (when its released)

    no you were not in any way wrong i just included that you need to be more stock than just the stockrom
