    Hi

I know that Android 5 has not been released yet. However, I can get my phone upgraded every 2 years. I was going to wait for Android 5, however the person at the desk said if I got an Android 4, I could download and update to Android 5 later. Is that true?

The only phone you can safely assume will get Android 5 is the Nexus 4. Other than that it's impossible to be certain, but the newer the phone and more powerful the hardware the better the odds are it will get upgraded.

If the phone you get will support Android 5 you can update later.

One thing to remember, OS updates are dependent on if the phone manufacturer releases 5 for the phone you buy. Then, if your phone is scheduled to get 5 you have to wait for your carrier to release it to you.

Ok, I will be sure to look for devices with Android 5 support. Thanks.

Phone manufacturers will not have this listed because Android 5 has not been officially released by Google yet.
