Upgrading my stock keyboard

I hear that there are several keyboards that are better than the stock keyboard. So, I wanna try one out, but not sure which one to use. I have seen a few mentioned. What do you all suggest?

I was just looking at Better Keyboard in the market, but there's 3 different ones to choose from. There's Better Keyboard 7, 8, and a paid version..

You might beable to dl 7 or 8 but you wont be able to use them with out paying for the key. Its worth it though.

Smart keyboard pro, if you're willing to dish out a few bucks. Exponentially better than the stock and (in my opinion) every other keyboard. The auto correct is so accurate.

I've tried SwiftKey, Better Keyboard, KeyPurr, and Ultra Keyboard, and my vote is for Ultra Keyboard. Lots of options, and I don't have to press 2 different buttons to switch to numbers or punctuation, just one.

I decided to go with Better Keyboard, just because I could find more positive info on it. I might try the others later. Should I delete or freeze the stock keyboard?

I use BetterKeyboard. It has bigger buttons and runs very smoothly, no lag. You can download free themes for it that will change the color, button, size and shapes. Its also shows suggestions for words that you can tap if your typing a long word. I've had it for about 3 months now and am very glad I bought it.:)

When you try to enter text your phone might ask you which keyboard you want to use. If it does not then go to Settings>Keyboard & Language. It should be self explanatory, I can't remember exactly where it is.

And if you do a little more searching, that reasonable price could potentially be $0.00, assuming you don't mind not contributing to the devs who develop the apps.

P.S. - Microsoft can suck it, I will never PAY for any of their products, so long as there is an alternative.

Interesting, I just realized that you can create a custom theme for Ultra Keyboard. You can adjust the color of text, keys, keys when pressed.....I may have to play with this when I get home from work!
