I have got to clockworkmod recovery but neither work. second method says the application has stopped unexpectedly forcer close.

I've got right through to the last stage now but cant see the Blade in my computer so cant put files on it. This is despite:

1. Being able to install software from the PC (Windows 7 64 bit).
and
2. Device Manager shong the ZTE Blade installed correctly
