So I was wondering if I'll be able to upgrade my phone if I'm out of my home state. I'm in Vegas right now for vacation and I'm going to call the Verizon store in the morning if they have any in stock. I just want to be prepared first.

    Thanks, awesome forums too!

I don't see why not. I had a friend that moved from North Carolina to Kentucky and he wanted to keep his NC number so he never told them that he moved. He went in to the store and upgraded his phone with no problems.

You shouldn't have a problem doing it as far as I can see. If you were setting up a new line or something you might run into problems with setting up the correct area code but as far as I know you can walk into any Verizon store and do upgrades, changes to your plan, ect.

I got my DInc while I was on vacation in Cali. Bought at BB and even got rebate thru VW. No probs at all.
