Root Upgrading to 2.29.405.14

How can I upgrade from 2.29.405.5 to 2.29.405.14 so I can go on to HTC Dev website to unlock my phone. I have tried manual update and all I get is error 7 download. Is there something I am doing wrong.

What is it you're looking to achieve here? I wouldn't advise using the official HTC Dev website method to "unlock" your phone as it actually restricts what you can do. Recommend you use unofficial, tried and tested methods to root and if you want to go further S-OFF (bypass the NAND security). Start with reading the faqs and guides in the All Things Root sticky (link in my sig) and ask questions about anything you're unsure of before doing anything to your phone.

DO NOT "unlock" your phone using the HTC dev site.
It's more restricted than the unofficial ways. It prevents you then using the unofficial ways too. It is actually of no benefit what so ever and only stops you doing productive things in the future.
