uploading photos to facebook problem (portrait viewing as landscape)

Don't know if anybody else is having this problem bu I assume somebody is!

When I upload portrait photos to facebook (portrait as in not landscape... as in vertical not horizontal), they show up in landscape.

Please help... this is my only issue with the droid so far! I love it.

so it looks like it's not only facebook... it's the picture itself... if i take a vertical picture it saves as landscape.

it's tthe actual file not a facebook app issue. is this just because of the crappy camera? and i can't believe i haven't found any topics in this forum or others with related issues.

I've noticed this too. Not sure what the solution is. I just rotated the pic on FB once it downloaded there.

happens in mms too though...

so if you mount the drive... and rotate the pictures on your computer they will upload in the correct format to mms and facebook

looks like this will be a problem until the dec.11 update?

so note to everybody:
if you plan on uploading a quick picture to facebook or sending a quick picture mms, take the picture in landscape (i just mean physically taking the picture with the phone sideways and not vertical... you can leave the "scene mode" at auto)

has anybody found a fix for this? As of this week my moto droid is still not uploading the photos to Facebook the same way I took them. somebody mentioned rotating it in facebook after it's loaded. I didn't find a way to do that from my droid and would like to know how if it works.

Is there a way to rotate the picture on the phone with an app and then upload it so that it uploads correctly?

The only way I have solved this is by screen grabbing the image in its desired location and re-saving anewbefore uploading to facebook (which seems to have removed the rotate option?). It works, but its not great.

My pictures are in correct position when I upload, its after it gets uploaded it turns it 180
