Can someone please help me, i have a samsung galaxy s1 and i have accidently formatted my usb and lost all my photos and music...it was my sons 5th birthday and ive lost all his party photos.....ive tried downloading different programs and stuff but nothing seems to work......can anyone help my by giving me simple instructions ? i havent got a clue what im doing and i cant understand computer talk

Welcome to the Forums, even if it is for something as dire as this.
I take it you are looking to recoup those photos? The only thing I can think to do is see if a specialist can retrieve the deleted data for you. A while back I heard that in Windows, even when you "emptied the recycle bin," there was still a way to retrieve that data. Maybe that applies in this case.
I admit I could be hopelessly incorrect.
For the record, I feel your pain. My wife's phone was stolen a few months back. It was right after I had setup her phone so that we could backup pics to the cloud using Google+. We just hadn't gotten around to uploading the photos the previous day. We lost almost all photos she had taken since our now almost 2 year old was born. Rough.
