Hey guys. Since I got my phone, it's been great. Now, when I turn it on, it displays the bootloader screen and it flashes "Battery low, cannot program" EVERYTHING I've done has been useless, battery pull, etc. Any suggestions? EDIT: I was NOT trying to root
You aren't trying to turn it on while it is plugged in, are you? If so, unplug it and boot it before plugging it back in.
hmm sound like the bootloader was activated by pressing this key at the same time its powered on...by mistake of course. I am not familiar with the Droid so I am not sure what the best answer to this is. Check out Motorola's website for help and search google like crazy and you may find something. Otherwise I think VZW opens at 10 or 11 tmw. Sorry!
If you shut your phone off, plug it in, and then boot... you land on a black screen with small digital print that says "Bootloader version bla bla bla", and it will not continue booting until you unplug it. ...at least, mine does. So, given how he described the problem, I would say it has everything to do with it. Ninja edit: It did before. Apparently it doesn't now. Disregard.
hmm... don't know. I posted about it a while ago on another thread about rooting. Everyone was coming up with these crazy button combinations to get to that screen, and I was like "hmm... I just have to plug it in and reboot".
The touch screen cannot be pushed by a pillow, only fingers. Try pushing the buttons with a Q-tip or a piece of cloth, it only reacts to the electrical currents that it can measure. Just FYI.
