Root [US Celluar] Updated to KittKatt, now thinking I want to try rooting

    So... I recently updated my S4 to KittKatt, and I'm not impressed. So I'd like to try rooting

    Suggestions for ROMs and suchlike?

    Can I ask which firmware you have and do u want custom or base .

    Ummm... Android version 4.4.2, Baseband version R970TYUFND1. That help?

    I'd imagine going with base would be easiest, but offer fewer options. While custom would reverse that?

    I just wanted to say if you do root your phone i5 will void your warranty on the phone I work for a cellphone company warranty dept and thats with any carrier so if you do root it then something goes wrong with it then you will NOT be able to get warranty on it under the one years manufacturer warrnty just a heads up

    So what happened if I was to root and I didn't have a problem and didn't need warranty but they wanted to trade the phone in cause carrier with CDMA was changing to gsm . do I still get a phone for trade
