I dont believe this ever did it prior to root. When I connect my phone to pc it brings up 2 drives not just the sd card. I believe one is the actual phone? i have deleted any pics off the phone. Is there a way to just have the sd card pop up? The only thing on the other one is LOST.dir

This is the expected result since you now have root access to the internal drive. The best thing you can do is to rename the sd card so you can easily tell them apart.

root has NOTHING to do with it. You should always have 2 drives pop up. SD card and also the internal storage on the phone. You cant label them anymore as Froyo seems to have disable the use of autorun files on the drives for naming/icon usage :(

Absolutely two should show up. I named mine Dinc internal and Dinc Sd card.

I am running skyraider 3.0 froyo.

I always had this. On 2.1 and on 2.2 stock, also after root.

And i did as quoted above, named one of them "sdcard" so i can just "X" out of one, and explore the "sdcard" drive

I've always had both as well on 2.1 and 2.2 even after rooting mine.
