Root usb driver

    anyone care to post the windows usb driver... can't effing install it... the url in the androidsdk app (sdksetup.exe) won't work... dunno if because of my work network, or because i'm on a 64-bit XP machine... in any case.... can't find the USB driver ANYWHERE.... other than through SDK components portal, which I can't access.... :(

    edit: nm. i just saw you used the "force https" option and still doesnt work.

    ill look for another way, but it works for me.

    well i found the USB driver finally over on xda...

    but now, even with the driver, can't get adb to work... i'm thinking my windows machine (XP, 64bit) at work is the problem - i'll try with my macbook running os x later tonight when i get home...

    i didnt even use adb man. you can skip this step.

    explain... i'm all ears...

    any instructions I've come across say to use adb and fastboot... if i can skip that, than ****en A

    I'm not sure how it's done on Windows but on my mac I didn't need to dl any drivers, just install the android sdk and then get the fastboot binary from here

    Oh ok got ya... I'll be using my macbook from now on to do any of this... Windows just sucks...

    I just skipped adb and downloaded fastboot.
    Then flashed it using a cmd prompt from inside fastboot's folder.
