Root USB mass storage not working on dl30

Just as the title says, anyone know what the problem could be or a solution?

think i read somewhere that you have to put debug mode on.
i have debug mode on, and its working fine.

try enabling, usb debugging and changing the option under usb setting to "ask upon connection" This worked for me.

weird because DL30 fixed all my mounting problems.

I just went to DL30 ... had the same problem and followed ^^^^ the above. Connected just fine for me ... hope you figure it out

I don't know if it's the phone itself or the PC's I'm using (which I've used both and had no issue before DL30) But the USB Mass storage definitely turns on, however my computer doesn't recognize it.

FIXED! Re-flashed the ROM to fix permissions and all is right with the world! Thanks everyone for your ideas though

This gave me inspiration, I used Twrp to fix my permissions.
didn't have to re-flash my rom, and now the usb dialog is on the phone again like it needs to be.
not positive what i did to lose the usb drop down option, but its back.
