    Hello,

I get a notification when the USB is plugged in.

Does anyone know where to change this. Just can't seem to find it.

    Thanks.

When you plug it in, below the four options, near the bottom of the screen there is a selectable able option called "don't ask again" which will make the choice you make the default option.

Menu>Settings>Connect To PC....there you can change your default action.

Sorry guys, I didn't explain that very well.

When I plug the USB in and select connect to PC I get a notification tone. It is this tone I want to change.
It is currently using the same tone as for incoming texts, I want to change it to the Droid robotic tone.
Hopefully this notification can be changed separately.

    Thanks.

Whoa. I'm trying to do exactly the same thing. droid sound and all.

I can change the sound to other default sounds, but when I try to change it to droid, I seem to get a default notification sound instead.

I've managed to get the droid sound to be listed in my default notifications list, but I still get the default one.

As far as I know, this default sound plays for all system notifications because I get the same sound when I turn the phone off.

I've managed to change text, email and failed text, but notifications just doesn't seem to work.

I need to do this as well. I dont mind having to set each sound independantly, but you cant choose the USB sound at all!

    halp!

    I'm on Droid X 2.1 btw.
