Support USB port to COM port

    Hi I'm using Hisense HS-U971 and I need to install a stock rom in it using a windows pc but it needs that my phone be connected on my pc through a COM port instead of a USB port.My pc is an Asus P8H61MLX 2.0 model and it has a COM1 port at the back but I do not have a com port cable.I only have a USB cable for my phone.What can I do please?Thank you in advance for all your answers

    Have you got the correct Hisense USB drivers installed? Physical COM ports don't actually exist on any modern PC of course, and the phone does indeed connect via USB. However the Hisense flashing software is probably using an emulated one, which would actually appear in Device Manager, as COM1 or COM2, etc.
