General Use a CD drive with the TF?

    So Im right now at 90% sure that Im going to be getting one of these and Ive read here and there about using a CD drive with one of these but no one really went into detail about how they did it. Im wondering if you guys are doing it through a USB connection to the CD drive and the transformer or through some other means. This is probably the one thing keeping me on the fence between this and a netbook. All help is appreciated.

    thats actually a fair point, do have an old external sony DVD-RW, havent tried it out yet, will do tonight :)

    I tried my Iomega CDRW/DVD drive, doesn't work.

    You could always hack the Transformer and use Linux- the drivers should all work. I prefer Android though, and hope someone will make an "App" to use external CD drives on tablets..

    update: and that will be a no to the dvd/cd drive. hmmm....certainly a missing market there, will log another call with the asus support team to see what they can do...if anything!

    p.s. also found an old usb external floppy drive...hehe...made me chuckle :)
