Like the title says, is there any way to long press the volume up/down buttons to skip forward and back in the Google Music app? I'm loving the streaming access to my whole library, but turning on and unlocking the screen to skip tracks is getting really, really old.

Using a HTC Thunderbolt rooted and running CM7.

That's a VERY good idea. There isn't a way that I know of, but maybe somebody can modify the app to do this.

On a side note, maybe there is some kind of mini bluetooth remote to do this? Something maybe the size of a half dollar, that all it does is pair to the phone to skip tracks. That would be very helpful to me as I put my phone in a windsheild mount in my car, and its a pain to reach for the phone every time i want to change tracks.

I like the bluetooth remote idea. Maybe just a little round puck with forward, reverse, and a pause/play button. I'd buy that...

I searched all around yesterday, including ebay, which normally has lots of little gadgets like that, and I couldnt find anything.
