Hi is just me, or it the HTC Desire Notes Widget useless?

You can write notes fairly easily - but the only way to view, eg the last note, is to delete the top one until you get down to the last!!

Is there some way to flick through these notes easily?
Otherwise ill just go back to ak notepad (which is good, but you can't draw a note)

It's pretty crap still though. Mine deleted all my notes last week so I've uninstalled it.

Where can you find this useless widget?

It's not on my phone and I didn't see it in the Market.

Tried to download Notes (can't connect my phone right now - poor reception). It said it downloaded but never showed up on either the widget or program lists.

Did this with Weather Channel too - never showed up on phone.

I really need a memo app.

Press on empty bit of your screen/desktop, press Widget, at the top select Get more HTC widgets, click Notes. Download and install.

Did as you suggested. I have a reasonable WiFi signal. Response: "Unable to download widgets try again".

Tried again and again same answer.

    What now?

If you need a memo notepad app I'd recommend 'ColorNote' free from the Market.

Its quite cool actually and the swipe up and down is pretty slick but I just think it takes up more space than it needs to.

I liked this widget at first because i can flick through notes. No need to add a new note widget to the homesceen everytime i create a new note. but i found out that i can't edit notes! I can only add or delete.
