Ok, I have to ask this because I have never actually got this to work.

I've tried a couple of other keyboards from the market, and when I check the box to use that keyboard, and even reboot the phone, go into a text entry field... and voila! the stock keyboard pops up!...

So, am I missing something here? I think I have tried 2 keyboards, with various roms, and they never work..

Try a long press in the field and then select 'Keyboard input', or press the little cog wheel in the bottom left for the options and change it in there

All good, it takes a bit of getting used to but once you find your way around the phone settings its easy ;)

I've had this phone for a while too, I rooted it, flashed custom roms and all... but there are so many hidden flips and switches everywhere... I don't think I've found them all yet. :D
