Help Using internet in Wi-Fi zones

I cannot seem to surf the web when I'm in W-Fi zones outside of home. It works fine on my home Wi-Fi and I can see and appear to establish Wi-Fi connections outside home, but internet pages will not load. Zones are free areas not requiring passwords.

If this is at places like Starbucks, check the browser. There might be a terms of agreement page that needs to be checked before you can fully access their wifi.
