How do I transfer photos, music and any other data to my SD card to free up space on my phone?

    Hi

For future data, go into the settings of each app and set the default storage location to external sd card. Most apps including the stock camera have this option. Normally the app will create a suitable folder on the sd card for you.

For existing data, install a good file manager such as ESfile manager (free from Playstore) and then copy and paste existing files to the folders the apps have created. Its very like doing it on a pc with file explorer. ( I always copy & paste rather than cut & paste because with the latter a slip of the finger can loose a lot of data!) Once copied and checked, delete the ones in internal memory.

Its always best to backup anything you value OFF your phone, either to a cloud service or a PC. If you lose your phone or it really dies you can lose the data if you dont do this.

    Hope this helps

    Roger
