Using these forums from your device

I'm going to try to explain this the best I can so bear with me.

When I first opened up these forums on my EVO I got a pop-up prompting me if I wanted to inter grade these forums with this "app"(for lack of a better word) to make browsing and posting on the forums easier. The pop up stated that many forums are now using "this" service. I declined to use it and now I'd like to go back and apply it to the forums while using my EVO. Does anyone know what that "service" is call and how to apply it to my EVO?
