    hey gang,
I am trying to use a Netgear WNDR3700 wireless router to connect to my rooted droid incredible via wifi tether.

The wifi tether works fine when connected to my laptop (Win7x64), however, I am wanting to extend that net access to other devices on my local LAN.

I do not want to use ICS on my laptop, and i am not concerned with speed. I only need connectivity.

I am guessing that the Netgear WNDR3700 will need the DD-WRT firmware installed on it (which it is supported). Thus making the wifi router to act as a bridge?

Any thoughts or examples of successful implementation of wifi routers to Droid wifi tether?

    Thanks
    Jay

Nearly positive that the incredible will not support a range extender, just like some routers don't. But won't hurt to try, let us know if it works.
