v2.1 Favorites disappearing Fix

So i was having issue with my favorites disappearing. It was a pain with my Favorite People widget.

It has to do with your sync. To fix it, you have to go to the gmail website and add your favorites to the website. If you don't it will keep syncing your favorites with the site, thus the disappearing. I would think it should be a 2 way sync, but I guess not. Either that or this is a syncing bug.

do you mean up load all your contacts to your google contacts?
Because I had this problem and just trashed the widget and used the other option on the fav people widget and its working fine.

I already had my contacts loaded in google contacts but didn't have any favorites set there. I kept adding favorites to my phone post 2.1 and they kept disappearing after every sync. It kept my favorites on my phone on the 1.5 version but it kept deleting them after the OTA. I just went to the gmail website and added them there to see if it was overwriting my phone with what was in google contacts and it looks like it was.
