Ever since the Evo 4G went from 2.2 to 2.3 bluetooth hasn't worked properly. It randomly connects and disconnects from the car. In both a stock player in a 2011 Cruze and in an aftermarket Alpine deck.

Well my 3D will not stay connected either. Anyone else having issues? Is it GB related?

My GF gets upset that her new Evo doesnt work in her car and her old BB Pearl did. The 4G is also on their approved list of devices too.

I never had any issues with BT streaming in my car. 2011 Hyundai Sonata.

    -Stock Froyo on E4G
    -CM7 (GB 2.3.3) on E4G
    -MIUI (GB 2.3.3) on E4G
    -Stock GB on E3D.

No issues on my E3D. I use a Motorola T505, though. It BT connects to my phone and streams to a radio station.

I have a rooted EVO 4G 2.2 that I just flashed GB 2.3.3 onto, and now I am having bluetooth issues. It randomly connects and disconnects.

Remove the stored connections from your phone and radio. Then re-connect it with PIN. Do not allow it to download phonebook. Mine works fine now.

Some ROMs have issues with BT. Not much you can do except report it to the ROM dev.

Who was this directed at? Just wondering because I have no issues with other stored connections (I have one for every ROM) and I always allow the contacts transfer.

Deftone. It's an issue with Chevy vehicles that causes it to randomly connect and disconnect.
