Hello. I have a Verizon galaxy s4 sch-i545. My phone is rooted and on 4.3. I would like to update to 4.4.2 without losing root. I don't mind losing my apps since I can reinstall later. Is it possible I upgrade to 4.4.2? If so, how? Do I need to unroot, update, then root again? Thank you.

I know its been awhile but I have the same problem.
I rooted my 4.3 (mk2) last year, now I have to manually postpone the update every day, because my phone is rooted it will not automatically take the update. I would like to update to 4.4.2 or ?, I dont care if I loose my date- in fact I would prefer to wipe everything and start over.
    Thoughts?
