Is there a zip file or do I have to flash back to factory, unlock and re-root? I tried p3's new radio. It was okay but I seemed to be running hot.

Steven looks at Yeahha and points... says: WHO'S THE MAN? YOU THE MAN!

Edit: That's the new radio. I meant the stock radio. Thanks anyway. :)

Steven,

Since you're on Verizon, you'd have to download (if you haven't already) the stock VZW package (mysid-icl53f-factory-65895fa8.tgz) from here:

https://dl.google.com/dl/android/aosp/mysid-icl53f-factory-65895fa8.tgz

MD5 checksum: bafc4d3c5faa9822f76a5313fc91f743
SHA1 checksum: 65895fa8859002dbc028b94980162bfad6628e55

Extract the mysid-icl53f-factory-65895fa8.tgz file to a folder. In there, you'll find these five files:

• bootloader-toro-primekk15.img
• flash-all.sh
• image-mysid-icl53f.zip
• radio-cdma-toro-i515.ek05.img
• radio-toro-i515.ek02.img

You'll want to:

- put your phone in fastboot / bootloader mode

- execute the following fastboot commands (these are taken verbatim from the flash-all.sh script):

Code (Text):
1. fastboot flash radio radio-toro-i515.ek02.img
2.
3. fastboot reboot-bootloader
4.
5. sleep 5
6.
7. fastboot flash radio-cdma radio-cdma-toro-i515.ek05.img
Then reboot as normal and you should have the stock radios.

Cheers!

if anyone actually pulls those radio.img files, can you please post them here? i have held off on trying the leaked radio simply because the stock files are not readily available to return to.

SolidOrange,

Here you go: View attachment vzw-lte-402-stock-radios.zip

MD5 sum of the above .zip file: 02808b741837022e61eff3aee1d62ead

Cheers!

edit / note: that's just a .zip archive--is NOT a flashable .zip package.

if clicking the thanks button more than once worked, i would have done it about 10 times. looks like i'll be giving the leaked radio a shot tomorrow. :D

No problem, sir!

By the way...this is not a flashable .zip file (like someone else thought it was...scary alien whistles to no one in particular...:D ;) :p :))...

Cheers!

Has anyone tried the 4.0.1 radios? I wonder if we would see any improvements with those...nobody would have had a chance to do any real testing since we all got 4.0.2 a few minutes after activating.

Edit: looks like the lte radio is the same, only the cdma radios changed from 01 to 02..
