If there are any irc channels on freenet for the gnex, I have yet to find them. I see mention of them occasionally, but no specific channel names.. Can anyone guide me to the right channels?

No known/popular channels yet for the GN yet, but expect to see one real soon...

You mean freenode? There is a channel but it seems to be empty when I've checked. It's #gnexus.

There's also one at http://chat.andirc.net:8080/

On a client, set up as irc.andirc.net @ port 6667

The andirc channel tends to be more geared toward development as a heads up. But I've seen everything discussed there, more general stuff in the beginning days of the gnex though as compared to now.
