Help verizon lollipop??

Is verizon leaving out parts of lollipop? I don't see how to pin apps or guest mode or any face recognition. Please let me know what I'm missing here.

I forgot all about facial recognition. I did notice that the download booster which was left out before is there.

I tried the download booster and it wouldn't bring up the pix just a square. So I turned it off and the pix popped right up!

Now that Verizon gave us 5.00, I wonder if they will release 5.02?

I hope that they will, so that the collective complaints we are witnessing are addressed.

They did for 4.4.4 (1) and I was very surprised with 4.4.4 (2) showed up on my phone in a very short span of time.

I updated yesterday and I'm very pleased. I have a stock Verizon phone. I noticed phone responds faster and calls are better. I can't comment on battery life as of yet but I will keep track and post in a few days.

Don't worry mills23, you are not going mad. Whilst the features that you mention are available in Lollipop on the stock Android Nexus phone, here and here, they are not present on the stock Samsung TouchWiz firmware release or the Verizon Lollipop version. See the user manual for Lollipop on the worldwide edition, here. I seem to remember reading that Samsung did not deem facial recognition secure enough to release at that time. Things may change with Android 5.1 Lollipop, which has begun a roll out, when it comes to TouchWiz... but don't hold your breath.

Not quite. See under... See more of what Android Lollipop has to offer (See all features), as most of these are incorporated on the Samsung Lollipop firmware.

Things 5.0 has to offer seem to be heavily weighted in favor of unwanted issues.
enough so, I have decided to forgo the pleasure of trying it out.
